The Postal Regulatory Commission Approves USPS August Price Increase

The Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) today approved the United States Postal Service (USPS) proposed price increase, which will take effect August 29, 2021.

First-Class Single Piece Stamp prices will increase 3¢, from 55¢ to 58¢.

The order on Docket Number R2021-2 was posted on the PRC website this afternoon, July 19, 2021.

Below is a summary of the average increase by class, and below that by-product level in each class. These remain unchanged from the proposal filing that was posted to the PRC website on May 28, 2021.

Within each product, there are variable increases at a presort level. LSC Communications will work with their clients to forecast the individual impact on their mailings.
